Care & Compassion

Our compassion ministry exists to provide love and support to people who are struggling with life’s most difficult challenges. At one time or another, we all need the help of others to see our way through a difficult time. Whether your struggle is physical, emotional, relational, or financial, we are here for you and want to help however we can.

Study Connection is an award winning tutoring program of Fort Wayne Community Schools. Individuals are matched one-to-one with students who have been identified by their teachers as needing extra academic assistance. Pairs meet for one hour once a week during the school year. Students and tutors meet at the student's school during lunch. At the end of the hour, students return to their schools for dismissal, or are dismissed by an FWCS employee if tutoring takes place in a local school.

Africa Church Planting

The Africa Church Planting Initiative began as an FEC initiative in 2019, establishing indigenous, multiplying, self-sustaining churches in rural areas of the southern region of Africa. Even though historically the gospel has spread in the urban areas of southern African countries, the rural areas still need churches that preach the true gospel and serve the people.
