Children

Existing to move people closer to God through Jesus Christ, we envision Brookside Children's Ministries to partner with parents to train and equip children to know, grow, and go in Him.

Core Values

1. Worship - responding: Children bring honor and glory to God through lifestyles and expressions that are God focused and Biblically based.
2. Community - loving: Children will find our ministry to be a safe place of belonging, where they are known, cared for and encouraged in their spiritual journey and encouraged to love others.
3. Discipleship - learning: Our ministry will provide programming that will build up and strengthen believers to be Christ-like in their Spiritual journey.
4. Serve - sharing: Our ministry will provide opportunities for believers to use their Spiritual Gifts so serve the Lord.
5. Outreach - evangelizing: Children would have opportunities to reach out with love, grace and truth of Christ to those around us and beyond!

For your first visit with children:

1. Pick a service. Sunday mornings: 9:30 or 11:00; Wednesday’s Midweek. During these services, Children’s Ministries serves children from birth to fourth grade. Children are welcome to stay for one or both hours on Sunday mornings.
2. Get Directions. We are located on Evard Road just west of the intersection of Evard and Maplecrest Roads. 6102 Evard Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835. 260-485-9665
3. Register and check-in your kids at Brookside Boulevard before the service. Our Children’s Check-In Registration Station is located just inside Entrance #3. Registration is open for 30 minutes prior to each service. Drop off at their classrooms begins 15 minutes before services.
4. Enjoy the Worship Service and/or Adult Bible Fellowship! Worship services are in the worship center located on the north side of the building inside Entrances 1 and 2.
5. After the service. Stop by the Connection Center to get connected! Enjoy something to drink at the Connections Cafe in the Well. It is generally open an hour before and after each service. Stop back by the Children’s Check-In station to secure a check out slip for each of your children before you pick them up in their classrooms.
