BUSINESS MEETING | 2025

Together, let's celebrate all that God has done and look forward to all that He has in store for us in the year ahead.

HEY BROOKSIDE ,

It's that time of year again! Every year, we come together as a church to reflect on the past year and to look forward to what God has in store for us in the year ahead.
We're excited to invite you to our Annual Business Meeting, which will be held between our worship gatherings. This is a unique opportunity for us to gather as a community, to hear from our staff and elders, and to get a glimpse into the vision and plans for Brookside in the coming year.
In this meeting, we'll celebrate the amazing things God has done in and through our church over the past year. We'll share stories of lives changed, communities impacted, and the incredible ways we've seen God move.
But we won't just be looking back; we'll also be looking forward. Our team has been prayerfully seeking God's direction for Brookside, and we can't wait to share with you the new initiatives, ministries, and opportunities that we believe will help us continue to grow in our mission of building Jesus-centered homes.
Whether you've been a part of the Brookside family for years or you're new to our community, this meeting is for you. It's a chance to connect with one another, to be inspired by what God is doing, and to catch the vision for where we're headed together.
So mark your calendars for February 9th and plan to join us for the Brookside Annual Business Meeting.

About Jerod Hevel

Jerod and his wife Kara, and their three children - Brekken, Crew, and Isla - have found a welcoming home at Brookside Church over the past few years, appreciating how quickly the community embraced them. As VP of Strategy and Innovation at Rival Holdings, a growing local construction company with nationwide reach, Jerod brings his passion for strategic planning and innovation to his professional life. However, he considers his most important role to be a devoted husband and father, committed to leading his family in following Jesus. The Hevels stay active and engaged, with the kids participating in sports throughout the year and Jerod helping coach whenever possible. Yet, their involvement extends beyond their own family. Jerod and Kara feel God calling them to serve their city's marginalized and less fortunate. They are increasingly dedicating their time and resources to Brookside and partnering with other local ministries to support those facing homelessness and hardship. Jerod desires to see everyone at Brookside experience the Gospel's transformative power, fostering Jesus-centered homes and igniting positive change in Fort Wayne.
