Serving Simply is an amazing organization that strives to make a difference in the Fort Wayne community. Every Saturday night, they gather meals, clothes, and supplies to serve those in need. They make sure everyone is taken care of and that no one goes hungry or without the basic necessities of life. Brookside is proud to partner with Serving Simply and is dedicated to joining them in their mission on the fourth Saturday of every month. Neighborlink is a unique and practical platform that connects people in a powerful way, and helps strengthen and rebuild the neighborhoods in Fort Wayne. Through Neighborlink, neighbors can come together to help and support each other, by offering assistance with projects such as painting, raking, mowing, and other household tasks. This creates a sense of unity within a community, and helps to foster relationships between neighbors. Brookside encourages everyone to join Neighborlink, and come together to make a difference in their community.

Brookside Church is proud to partner with Mission Church, a local sister church with a variety of inner-city ministry opportunities. On Christmas Eve, we join hands with Mission Church to provide love and support to those in need in the Wells Street Corridor. We distribute food, coats, toys, and prayer to their neighbors, bringing joy and comfort on this special evening.

Throughout the year, we also strive to nourish our community in other ways. We restock the food pantries of Mission Church with non-perishable food and fast food gift cards so that the local families can have their basic needs met.

Brookside is proud to join forces with Four:10 Ministries, an organization devoted to helping women who are at risk of or currently involved in the sex industry. Through this partnership, we are collecting supplies for their Hope Bags, which are aimed at empowering these individuals to leave their suffering behind and acquire the assistance they need. This initiative reflects our commitment to spreading the hope and love of Jesus Christ, and helping those who have found themselves in a situation of exploitation. We believe that everyone deserves a chance at a better life, and our mission is to be a conduit in making that a reality. We currently do not have a need for bags at this time but please browse their other voluenteer opertunities.
